“ I'm a full-time-on-the-road RVer (and I'm also a foodie ) and I wanted to try some Texas BBQ for the first time. Peter's BBQ was not far from my campground, so I tried them out. It was good!! I had some pork ribs, which were perfectly seasoned and tasty. And the BBQ sauce I got on the side was also created quite nicely! (I decided I''m going to have to figure out how to make Texas BBQ sauce, as this was a new treat for me ) In top of the good meats, I liked that the restaurant was unpretentious, had interesting help-yourself side items, and the staff was MOST pleasant & seemed to truly care what I thought about the food! “ Stopped by on the way back to Katy from Houston. People were nice. Good amount of traffic coming in and out. Food was decent. We had brisket (lean serving and a moist serving) and sausage (regular and jalapeño cheddar). Good helpings on the two meat plate. Sides were self serve and were also decent: potato salad, slaw, beans, green beans. A lot of locals seemed to know that they have specials each night...I wish I had known. It was fried fish and shrimp, and it looked and smelled amazing after I saw it. Will try that the next time we pass through. We would stop again. :) ”

“ Peter's BBQ catered an event for us, and they did an excellent job. They had everything they needed, they were there on time, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ate the leftovers for days and didn't get sick of it. I really enjoyed their brisket the most. Their sides were also delicious, which included the potatoes with onions and green beans. ”
“ You've seen Peters. You've passed it a zillion time just like me. Only this time, I stopped because the offering down he road in La Grange was embarrassing to be called Texas bbq. This place is legit ! And the brisket and ribs are well worth the stop. Moist, tender and juicy, I can say you will not be disappointed. Next time I'll try some other delicacy, but the brisket will always be on my plate ! ”
